One young seminarian on a mission of creative hope and authentic faith. "Christians live by the promise of God and thus in creative hope" (Daniel Migliore)

About Me

I am a 20-something seminarian. I am a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA). I hold a BA in history with minors in global studies and religion. I have worked in several different churches and am discerning a call to ministry. I practice Non-Violent Communication. I have a passion for energetic (Spirit-filled) worship and liturgy. In my free time I craft, write, play the guitar, and read books to help prepare for my ministry (and sometimes novels). I am fascinated by the portrayal of religious diversity in pop culture, particularly Protestant Christianity as shown in sitcoms. I have the great honor to be a teaching assistant in the seminary's speech/communication department.

I have a stuffed golden retriever named John Calvin. Isn't he cute?
