Consulate

Today I sent off all of my paperwork to the Consulate General in California. I practically had to give them a blood sample, but it's all finished. I spent six months gathering the information. The visa that I will receive will be good for ninety days. If you remember my travel plans, I am not going to be in Greece for less than ninety days. I will be there for over one hundred days, but I need the first visa to apply for a housing permit/longer visa which I will get once I'm actually in Greece.
Tomorrow I am heading back to my university to work for the summer. I've got one job lined up and another one to interview for on Monday. I need that spending money for the great Greek shops! Feel free to ask me to bring you something back as long as it's small....and cheap [or you can pay me back]. No liquor, though. The drinking age in Greece is 18, so I'll be able to drink over there, but when I come back I won't be 21 yet.

καληνύχτα!

HAHA!! First comment! Sure, bring me back something fun and Greek...maybe Greek philosophical? Socrates is always fun. We'll work out prices soon...Italy is weekend after next and your souvenir will be as we discussed.
